I have been procrastinating a bit about what I am going to do with this blog. I know that eventually I will want to see if I can make money from this, so I am trying to choose wisely. On the other hand maybe I should just write and then take it from there. I know that I need more than one blog as you cannot lay your eggs all in one basket.

I will have to do some mid mapping and see what I come up with, see where it takes me. I am still undecided where or not to include work related stuff, or maybe I should use another blog for that. It may be better to use another blog for that.

I think that writing about personal money matters may be financially reward in the long term. I know that I am going to find an angle that I can use. I think that I might go down sving to buy a home route, that could be quite good.

I have been reading a few blogs for a little while and toying with the idea of starting one, I have even got some of my own webspace with a WordPress installed, I have not actually done it seriously. I think that I am going to change that.

Writing things down, I believe, helps to get you organsied and when you are using a blog people can read it and then comment. I am hoping that they will offer encouragement. I am a bad procrastinator and need to work on that.

There are a number of other things that I want to change and I feel that writing a blog hopefully will help and it helps anybody else then that is a good thing.

I will mainly be concentrating on my own personal finances. I need to get those in order, as the saying goes money makes the world go round. I am not in a lot of debt, but i don’t want to be in any debt at all and would like a decent amount of money in the bank so that I do not have to worry about anything. This will take time I know, but it will be worth it in the end.

I want to start off by clearing the debt that I have, it is only around £2000, so it should not take that long to clear. Then I want to start saving, so that I can buy a house. I think that that is what is going to take the time. The house prices in the UK are horrendous and you will need a very large deposit, before you can afford anything half decent.

I would also like to blog about GTD “Getting Things Done” the almost cultish book by David Allen. I have read most of it and will have to read it again, but I think that I can use that to help improve my life or at least get better organised.

I will not be posting every day, but hopefully it will be most days. I do 12 hour shift work and believe me you do not want to do anything after a 12 hour shift.
